In the valley of the racehorse

Uplands House is a Grade 2, Four-bedroom detached house with a one bedroom annex, on the edge of the North Wessex Downs in Upper Lambourn. It is fully modernised with a large living room, dining table seating 8, a garden room, study, fully equipped kitchen and laundry boot room.

The house and its surroundings reflect the ethos of its owner eclectic sensibility. The garden is ecologically designed with organic principles and native plants to increase biodiversity and natural habitats. 

  • Uplands House is a one hour drive from all Heathrow Terminals. Hungerford train station is a twenty minute drive away, with trains to London Paddington every hour. The fast train takes around fifty minutes.

  • Check-in is available from 3pm onwards and check-out is at 11am, unless requested otherwise. You will have two sets of keys for your stay - each has one high security key which opens both locks. Please make sure you always turn the alarm on and double lock them both properly.

  • As you can tell this is not just a rental property but a home. Most of the artwork and decoration have a very special personal significance so please be very careful and tell us if something gets damaged.
